Shoe care

Hey, I was wondering what were the best items to get for taking care of shoes. I've read that it's important thing to take care of in fashion but I've never taken much care of them before so I need help. Is it different for different types of shoes? Thanks.

I'll admit that shoes are the most lacking part of my wardrobe, I either wear boots on my motorcycle or sandals otherwise (I'm in fl)

But I do have a basic shoe polish kit with black and brown polish from a shoe store, it was like $10, basically like waxing your car it really does make them pop a little, I just do it once in a while, but definitely worth adding for basic shoes

All depends on the type of shoe you're looking to buy.

I would say shoe polish and a shoe brush if you're looking at something semi-casual or above. Hasn't failed me yet.

If you're rocking kicks (Air Forces Ones/Jordans), use a microfiber cloth and a hard toothbrush for cleaning.

Regardless of the shoe, I always use a heavy duty water repellent to keep any type of dampness out. That and a shoe tree to keep them looking new when I'm not wearing them.
