    Default Language Barriers

I'm new to the boards but as I mentioned in my intro, I don't consider myself a lame and I'm somewhat active in the field. Just recently while here in Okinawa, Japan a friend and I were strolling down the street looking for "something" to get into. It was a slow night but there were two young ladies, one spoke little english the other spoke very little english, roaming the streets just as we were. I'm not one to let an opportunity pass so I go in with the "You look familiar" opener. I was able to gain rapport due to the fact that we were able to relate a passing familiarity at a club the weekend prior. so I begin to put them in a comfort zone with a few jokes, and short stories but began to hit a few brick walls as the language barrier of these local began to distant us. So I threw a curve ball and attempted to Isolate them by inviting them to a different scene which allowed us to get closer and more personal, a karaoke house. Those of you not familiar with the popularity of karaoke houses here they are small private rooms that tailor to your party and bring food and drinks at request whilst your party engages in singing and so forth. We got them there had a few drinks and got more personal which each lady. after a few hours we decided to head out, once we all got to our original destination everything kinda faded away and we parted ways. My wing, whom is very inactive, thought had I closed once we got back to our original spot we could've taken them home with us. He seems to think he has an affinity for attraction in these types of situations, but is very little help in the moment. Used about 65% of my arsenal but felt uneasy when it came to crunch time. Anyone think I should have taken it a different route or pushed through to get em back with us?

    Default Re: Language Barriers

first of all, i'd develop a lot of Kino and a strong bond at the Karaoke. they had already shown their interest by going with you(good job) and you should have/could probably have K-closed your target there. later.. i'd say push through. might as well try and fail there buddy. or if you decide not to try for whatever reason, at least get their numbers and have a second option for the future
