Default 3 set approach...how to involve my wing?

I went out for what started as a couple of drinks with my mate tonight......however ended up having a fair amount to drink....but my mate was being a loser and wouldn't come clubbing. But I wanted to share the one and only approach I made tonight....it was the only approach simply because i was out with my mate and not out sarging, but had to approach at least one set or I'd feel like I'd wasted an opportunity.

Soo a 3 set of girls came into the bar we were in and sat down at a table a couple of metres away from us. I approached on my way back from the toilet in order to approach facing them rather than from behind. I opened by asking for a female opinion on my mate being finished by his gf as she said she loved him but wasn't 'in love' with him anymore.......got some interesting opinions and transitioned to joking about with them about a few situational things...Pervy guys etc. built up some value and ejected saying I should get back to my mate.*

I have one question about this.....how do I bring my wing in from this situation when he's sat a few metres away?....introducing my wing is a consistent problem I'm having as I just don't have any idea how to bring him in without it being obvious that we are hitting on them.*

Any critique of my approach etc is also welcome. Cheers guys

well you could make a plan with your mate before going to the restroom, have him to come over to ask you about something, then introduce him to the girls as a friend who came with you to catch a few drinks and blow off a little steam about the hole gf thing you used, then change the topic and include him in the convo. thats what i'd do

He is right thats what we all do. Sometimes my wing would say I am here with my 'best friend'. Then he points at me and I jokingly walk over and ask "what going on over here?". And there you go not rocket science.

yea i usually have my wing near by when ever i open a set and ill glance over at him and he knows to come over with out me saying anything. well then make useless small talk for 5 seconds and then ill say to the girls "oh how rude of me, this is my buddy x." Most simple way i can think to bring your wing into a set

All EXCELLENT ways to introduce your wing. Much appreciated for the thread and replies! :]

I remember opening a mixed4set, all of them were from Japan and only one of them clearly understood English. I entertained three of them with my little knowledge of Japanese language, had them teach me a few words, repeated after them, all while my wing isolated one of the girls and got her FB. I patted myself on the back after that one. :] "Goooood wingman."
Success or fail; everything you try can be chalked up as a learning experience~
