Yesterday I took my friends to the mall to see who wasn't afraid to approach women. Well I approached this woman, she's 25 and I'm 19. She was standing in a Champs store looking at some women's shoes so I walked in the store. ( I don't remember all of the interaction but I'll put what I remember)
Me( walking from behind pointing to the shoes): Can you buy me those ones?
Her: Only if you buy me those, mine cost more though
Me: That's not fair, guess you'll have to get me those that cost more.
Me: You look young, how old are you?
Her: I'm 25
Me I'm 19,what school do you go to?
Her: BCC mt. Laurel
Me: Omg I just came from the campus in my town, we got kicked out for talking to people there
Well that's all I remember but we also talked about the school she went too and how she used to live somewhere else. I got her name and fave her a false time constraint
Me: I have to leave soon, would it be okay if I got your number so I can text tou later?
Her: no, sorry. I don't know you like that.
After the interaction I thought hard on why she didn't give me the number because I had been getting that a lot that day. I know I build rapport and flirted but I probably didn't build enough comfort and usually went in for the close after 5 mins, which is probably too short of an interaction in my opinion.
