I wasn't exactly a social butterfly in school, so I never developed the necessary skill-set to talk to women. A lot has changed since then, but the one field I can't seem to cross is eye contact.
I can talk to a woman with confidence, make her laugh, do all the things necessary to get her to like me, but if our eyes meet my first instinct is to dart away. I know it's a matter of sizing me up, and that darting my eyes to the ground is bad for a multitude of reasons.
Any advice? I'm already trying to make eye contact with as many people as possible (servers, bank tellers, etc.), but I can't help but feel there's something else I'm missing here. Then again, I could just be over-thinking it.
