Default My Indentity Crisis From Tomh

    Hello everyone.

So I think I'm having a little bit of an identity crisis. I don't know where i fit in in this world. When someone asks me "Tell me about yourself?" or "Who are you?", I just can't think of an answer. As you might expect, this is not really good with the ladies. They find me boring because I'm not able to open up to anyone. Can anyone help me with some books or websites that can help me find who I am?

When you're going about life try to silence all that inner dialogue. Live fully in the moment. The guy experiencing that moment - that is the true you. There is no thinker - only the thought. There is no actor - only the act. You are literally what you experience. That is your essence. All those ruminations in your head - they are useless. Stop thinking and live. Then you will know your true self.

Give this an honest shot if you get a chance.

Talk to every women you can. Talk to younger girls, older girls, old ladies crossing the street, the bratty pretentious 16 year old at the supermarket. They are all women and will get you into the habit of knowing what to say with women and what they like talking about. The more women you talk to the more you will have to talk about. Talk to the best looking girl you can find and it will be easy to talk to the girl next door afterwards. Talk to older ladies and listen to what they talk about being comfortable in their wisdom. Listen to how young girls talk and see if you can continue a conversation with them. Don't even worry about numbers...just approach and talk to women. It might even just be a quick 'hello, nice day isnt it?' as you open the door for a girl leaving starbucks. It all builds confidence. Read books and your daily vocabulary will improve. They can be about anything...then in conversation 'I was reading this book the other day and it had a fascinating theory on blah blah blah'. You have stories and expression up your sleave. Don't get too technical with women, learn to use emotional language. Any pickup book you buy will eventually come back to 'approach a girl' 'talk to a girl' 'meet a girl'.
