Cool The call for a Mentor

First of all, I know. What I'm about to do is an Internet taboo. And if this were any other site, I'd agree with you. You never admit you dont know what youre doing. But last time I checked this was a pua forum, a place to man up and be confident. So to all who think I'm a "n00b", my response is a hearty "F you and your WoW, I'm not here to mess around I've got stuff to do."

Down to business. Simply put, I want a mentor. I know I've got potential and I'm pretty sure I could be great at this, but let's face it, theres a lot of info out there. Sure I could just ask "where do I start?" but I don't want that. It's not my style. Besides, after I read the reading and did the practice, I wouldn't know what's next. The way I see it, why be stubborn. I realize there are many PUAs wiser than me with a lot of information to pass down. I say bring it on. Cause I don't just want the info. This place seems like it is or could be a place of brotherhood, a place to get some male bonding going. I had a mentor when I was a teen and it changed my life. I want to see if it can happen again.

Basic info. I'm a college student, sophomore, living in the American southeast, studying journalism. I'm confident, a fast learning, and motivated. If you want more, you'll have to shoot me a message. Sorry, but I'm not a fan of making my life too public. Gotta have a little mystery, right?

They say the best way to learn is to teach someone else.

Haha wow, this is like the first thing I ever posted on this site. It feels like that was so long ago.

Even the most experienced PUA's should humbly understand that there is ALWAYS something to learn. Just the rate of learning slows down a bit lol.

I know you Bandit. You are one of the ones I feel have a natural talent for this. You've picked this up really quickly compared to others and feel you are skilled. So the fact you are still admitting that you are still a "student" is a good thing. And you already have mentors. Us!!

I know damn well I don't know everthing, but there are some things I feel that I'm damn good at. My weaknesses are compensated by the other guys who are great at those things. In fact I'll just go ahead and name my weaknesses....

Daygame. Believe it or not, I feel way more comfortable in a loud club, being the only one on the dance floor than at a mall, downtown, or even a Walmart. I always clam up when I see a woman during the day that I want to approach and always say to myself "Well I'm going out tonight so I'll just pickup women there." Lol. I get alittle better now because I'm in an LTR so my reason for talking to a woman during the day is purely to be social. Wow this has been a mouthful. Not sure why I rambled like that. Good luck Bandit.

    I was always amazing.

I picked up PUA when I was working at a summer camp. I had a lot of free time so I read a lot of material and asked a lot of questions. Eventually I started answering other peoples Questions. It was about 2 months of studying without much practice. After 2 weeks I was itching to get out and try stuff out, but I couldn't. The few times I did, I made the most of it. I was so eager AA wasn't even a factor. The first time I went out I k-closed a girl in a matter of minutes. That was my first field report. Then it was nothing for another month, except light flirting with the other councilors. Towards the end I did make out with a girl staying on the camp as part of a retreat. Then I got back to college and started working my game there. That's my personal story of my first few months of PUA, or how I got "amazing" as you put it.

I've read some of your posts and I'm impressed you went from newbie to expert that fast. Were you any good with girls before starting this? Did anyone end up showing you the ropes or did you figure it all out from reading material and trying it out on your own?
