Default Daygame transition after direct approach?

    Hey

If you approach a girl on the street and use a direct opener like "I tought you were really cute and wanted to say hi". What would be the best transition to use? Both if she is alone and if she is with friends.

Default Re: Daygame transition after direct approach?

It seems counter-intuitive, but I find that after a day game direct opener like that, the best thing is to keep silent. Not that you go zombie: you're still working:

Maintain eye contact, and while doing so think LOUDLY in your head 'You are beautiful, I meant every word, and we can really have fun together.'

It is a fact that what you are focused on internally creates micro-muscular movements in your face. This is why I spent years looking confused in pubs while I was a philosophy undergraduate. In this case, it will give you 'that look.' Also, there are social rules to be followed. Women -or anyone - will rarely silently walk away after you have spoken to them, regardless of content; so they will make some sort of reply.

If you clamp your jaw shut, deliver 'the look' and maintain eye contact,it will create a social vacuum and she will start asking you questions; usually like 'Do you do this often?' 'What are you doing here?'

At this point just go with the flow, riff with her, make jokes, tease, be charming; but still with pauses to allow her to get in on the speaking - this creates comfort. If you need canned material at this transitional phase, do something that allows for kino like a palm reading, or getting over enthused about something you have in common so you can go for a high five.

Then I usually say 'It was so good talking to you! Hate to leave you like this. . . ' This usually elicits a number close.

If things go really well and you are daygaming around a museum or pub, you can check out Cezanne or have a drink easily.

Daygaming for me is essentially mining for numbers for later dates.
