Question Can anybody help with situational openers?!

    Hey Gents,

This is my first post on PUA forums! Going buy the name of Six string :P
Start from the beginning is always a good idea. Read the game its been my starting point, been going out regularly 3-4 times a week since having a rough idea of the groundwork. Really helping when the convo is already going but with an approach I'm struggling to construct convincing situational openers (opinion ones are a bit obvious in my opinion). I think this is where my AA is coming from, once I've got an opener I have very little/ no AA.

Anyone got any tips on how to form strong, natural situational openers?

    Cheers,

    Six

just look at the current situation in the bar / club or wherever you are..

    - is the place crowded?
    - is there some event being held there?
    - are all men/women wearing the same (example suits)?
    - listen to the music.. too loud? too low?
    - is there a big line to buy .. ?
(just examples.. there are way more)
just look around you and talk about it
The Worst thing I can be is the same as everybody else. I'd Hate that!

    Welcome to the forums!

I personally don't like using the "opinion openers" either.... I feel like they've been over-used & played out because everyone has used them & the girls are starting to react to them like they're "pickup lines". (IMO)

But, situational openers are great! AND they're the easiest ones to come up with because, the "subject" matter is in close proximity.

For instance, you could use anything about the girl's outfit: "Heya, those boots are totally kick-ass! Where did you get them?" She'll give you the scoop about her boots (or dress, or necklace, or bracelet or whatever you comment about) & you can make small talk for a moment.

Pay attention to clues for more transitional subjects. If she says, "I got them when I was on vacation in such-n-such place" You can ask her about that place.

If she says, "I lucked out & got these on sale from a clearance rack" you can mention that she seems pretty frugal & obviously has a great eye for finding deals & saving money.

If she says "These were a gift" you could tell her she must be really cool & a genuinely great person to have friends or family getting her gifts that are that awesome... etc.

At no point have you complimented her physical looks... but rather, her personality & her sense of style.
    Most guys don't do that.

Also- pay attention to the environment itself.
If you're in a little dive bar or pub, you could casually say something like, "Have you ever noticed that, no matter where in the world you are, all the little pubs/bars like this have the same smell?..... like desperation." & kinda nudge her & laugh.
This is especially good if there are other guys hitting one her, offering to buy her drinks or using cheesy pickup lines.

Anyway, those are a couple quick examples of how to come up with situational openers. The best thing about them....? There's nothing to memorize! You just make generalized comments about the current surroundings, and inject a touch of humor.

Hope that helps & gives you a few ideas.
