Default Facebook question - is arguing / debating bad?

Sorry if this is the wrong section I just thought this isn't really related to facebook game but rather just trying to make yourself not look bad on facebook so it doesn't hurt you in real life. Is it ok to get in casual/intelligent facebook arguments/debates. One of my friends posted a status about sports and me and one friend got into a debate about the subject (probably lasted 20 posts over about 4-5 hours) but there was no insults and the subject matter wasn't serious. Is this a dlv or just seen as two people using facebook for debate? (Yes I know it'd be better to use chat/messages but a third friend was also involved and I didn't initiate it on fb). Thanks

i dont think it shows anything but that you stand up for what you believe in so DHV is my opinion
Men, we need to value our time more then we value women. This isn't to say women are not valuable. But who are we to believe in something so illogical, as men we should realize that without our time(life), we would not even be able to pursue women, but only our mother who gave us life. Why do we think we should prioritize them over our time(life) unless she is the one who gives me/my children life. Man is Sovereignty.

Making her laugh is one of the best DHV's you can do. When I see that stuff on FB, I usually crack jokes about it. For instance, people were having a serious debate on abortion. I jump into the conversation and say, "Omg I love abortions. I think EVERYONE should have one just for the experience." Everybody liked it and the argument diffused. I do that with most serious stuff.

But if I'm the one in the debate I can't really make a joke about it... should I just stay out of debates on facebook?

Just don't show that you get offended in any way. That's a DLV for sure.

I guess there's not much theory behind it. I can only say what I do, and after spending two years working at church camps and three years in college I'm sick of the top three discussion topics: religion, politics, and sports. Most girls are too, especially in a social networking setting. Don't get me wrong, they're great and important things to discuss, but not where literally ANYONE can just vommit their opinions. Nobody listens; they just want to reinforce their point.

Since the girls are sick of it, I make fun of it, and they like that. There is a time and a place, and it's probably not on FB. FB is for...well, a lot of sh*t. It's mostly where I f*ck around with social proof and crack jokes.

On my buddies birthdays I always write funny sh*t on their walls. Like, "I don't give a damn about your birthday, f*cker." Everyone loves it. Just saying "Happy birthday!!!!!" is lame.

Two words: overthinking it. Sheesh if you wanna get in an argument on Facebook do it. fark this DLV/DHV nonsense. If a bitch likes you some stupid comment on Facebook isn't gonna change that. Grow a pair and do what you wanna do.
