VERY strange situation that happened to me yesterday...
I'll try and keep it short but if there is one thing you should know about me, it's that I am a wild child who thinks it's a sin to stay in on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday instead of going out to a bar/club...I'm a partier
So, I had an early work day (6:30 AM) wake-up. Day went fine, constantly trying to get in state and was in a decent mood (6/7 out of 10)...I made plans to go out last night w/ some girls I met the night before (established social proof)...grabbed dinner, went for a run, etc. etc. I throw on a movie at like 8:30 and start pregaming by myself (ya, how lame is that hahah all my buddies went back to college)...at like 10:30 I pass the fark out!!! I wake up at 11:30 realizing I almost missed my opportunity but I was still SOOOOO tired, and like an a**hole, I go to sleep for the night!!
1) I HONESTLY haven't stayed in on a friday for almost a year
2) I'm upset w/ myself right now because I got so many texts from people last night saying the bar was awesome (would have had so much social proof)
3) I'm also pissed at myself for allowing this to happen
4) Not ALL is bad because I still have tonight but still...
ANY advice you guys have for better ways to get in state, keep my energy going, & pump myself up alone?
ALSO, a lot of you are reading this and probably saying, "this guy's a farking idiot, he should have just napped after work"...you're right HOWEVER, and from my own experience, when I nap that late in the day (6ish) it's typically a 50/50 chance of waking up groggy and killing my ENTIRE night.
