    Exclamation Friendzoned? Or something else?

So, I need help with something. I'm friends with this girl I met back in school. Recently she just broke up with her boy friend cause he was cheating on her. So, before this happened, I was kinda always an sarcastic ass hole to her in a way. She didn't really mind it, and I played along. Now, she ask for someone to talk too. So I put the sarcasm aside and showed her my nice side. She didn't expect this of me, and didn't know I had it. Now, she's telling me that she weirdly likes this. So my main questions are, what can I do to stay out of the friendzone, but not be the fall back guy. Cause she did just break up with her boyfriend. Is being the fallback guy better than being friendzoned? Help please, I've been friendzoned before, and it didn't end well.

Its not unheard of that a rebound relationship could become a healthy relationship. It does happen.

I think you should instantly qualify her. Tell her things like "Look I like you, but we wouldn't be a good match. You're too nice/bad for me." Get her to prove herself to you why she would make a good gf.
