Default Flaking on a home cooked dinner. Next step?

So I met this girl last year at a club, we hit it off pretty passionately, kissing and some fondling in the club. She moved abroad for the year but came back 3 weeks ago.

I re initiated contact via FB and met for a date, went ok both got pretty drunk and some more kissing ensued.

Today I invite her for dinner:

Me ... small talk then: anyway just seeing if u fancy meeting, maybe grabbing a bite to eat, over the coming days?

Her: that would be great! Tomorrow?

Me: Yeah tomorrows good, dinner out or home cocked Thai food? (previous date we discussed my adeptness at cooking Asian)

her: home cooked would be nicer!

Me: Ok great, I'll pick you up at 8

Her: alright great, it's a date!

Then 6 hours later, her: Hi! I just realized that I cant do tomorrow, my halls are having a party which I have to go to

Now she's pretty hot, my instincts are telling me to ask her if she's free over to weekend, my head is saying freeze her out.

    What should I do?

    Cheers

Nobody? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I was thinking of going with:

"Ah shame, had the ingredients all ready and everything, your loss hows bout we reconvene over the weekend?"

Well I would just tell her to have fun at her hall party and tell her maybe next time with a emo wink. Then you pretty much reduce your contact with her to the point you do freeze her out.

Good answer. I think if you reinvite her you are reaching and giving her the power, chasing a bit. I would respond a topgunnit says, and freeze out. If she's into you at all she will wonder why you don't care.
