I was chatting with another pua today, and he asked me what openers I have been using. This is one of my personal favorites, "Hey girls tell me something, do I look gay?"
Then I can continue into the thread of being hit on by gay men, and what I should do to stop it. It conveys that I am comfortable with my sexuality and am not homophobic in any way.
However my friend says that is the worst opener ever, he says that I am coming from a place of needing reassurance. But I disagree, I don't need reassurance and I don't care if gay men hit on me, or if I look gay for that matter. I enjoy this and have fun with this opener and because of that I set the frame of having a good time.
If I used one of the generic openers the community uses, ie "Who lies more, guys or girls?" Not only is that used commonly, but to me, it is boring as sh1t.
I have noticed, when it comes to opening, if I open a thread of conversation with something I actually find interesting and amusing, then by the law of state transfer the girl will be entertained as well.
I used this several times this month and one girl actually said "Take it as a compliment, you're an attractive guy"
