Question Is a girl dreaming of you an IOI?

I met this girl couple months ago in my hometown, number closed. When I got back to college from my hometown we barely chat or text with each other. A few days ago she texted me
HB:"I had a dream about you last night"
    ME:"Was it a good dream or a 18+ dream,lol"
    H:"..it was a weird dream "
    M:"how?"
H"The dream was like we started going out and one day you took me to your place...for some reason you just went out of the house and left me there alone"

I was wondering if its an IOI or not...

please help and thank you for your time

It's a little hard to tell but in general yes. It is a sign that she has ingrained you on her subconcious... whether the dream is positive or negative. Girls having dreams about guys leaving them, cheating on them or hurting them is fairly common. Carry on...it's a dream and not reality and you should tell her that...tell her that you would not just up and walk out on her. That you would hold her in your arms and kiss her as lightning illuminates your faces in the storm haha. She just revealed a small crack in her insecurity so I would use this as a huge opportunity to escalate.

Oh no, i think i missed the chance to escalate or i didnt escalate enough because i texted her that "it was weird because in my dreams i would never walk out on girls especially you "

I don't think having the dream itself is an IOI, dreams are a strange thing, but I think that she seemed to really want to tell you about it, I'd say that is an IOI. Let us know how it plays out.
