This is a recurring theme I'm noticing. I'll talk with a girl, online or in person, have great chemistry, get the number, give them a call, leave a voicemail and then have them not return my call. I usually just leave simple voicemails, "Hey, this is Sal, the (Ass Model, Time Machine Builder, whatever it was we talked about) give me a call whenever you can. My number's 555-5555."
Am I not setting up the fact that I'm actually going to call and set up a date properly when I first interact with them?
I heard David D say that he drills girls when he gets a number saying things like, "So are you going to answer this number when I call?" I thought about saying something like that when I get a number followed by, "Good because I'm only going to call once so you better pick up or call me back."
I also think I heard that you have to build a certain amount of rapport with a girl or she may not feel comfortable picking up the phone or returning your phone call. She may have "buyer's remorse" after the interaction when she realizes she gave her number to a strange man!!
And I'm not really into texting girls to start off with. I don't want to have a long drawn out conversation when all I want is to set up a date.
What are your guys' thoughts on this?
