Default Do I need to buy these expensive programs?

See, I don't mind buying a few books on my kindle. I've already bought a few. It's just these 60 dollar/100 dollar programs I'm wary of. Really, I don't know if I really need to spend that much money on this. I know that you should invest in yourself, and I want to. But I'm afraid those paid programs are merely gimmicks to make money. Do I need to buy into those programs, or can I excel just fine with free info thats on here, on YouTube, or Internet and a few select books I might have to buy on kindle or whatever? What might some of those books be?

Do whatever works best for you. Some will say you pay for quality, but that might be bunk. I've found that a lot of self-improvement gurus can charge an arm and a leg for their programs because there are people desperate enough/willing to pay for it. These guys are usually very good pitchmen and can make it sound like they're offering you the world.

I personally try and get as much advice off Youtube or blogs as I can. This forum is a great resource for PUA. Also check out Chateau Heartiste and Roosh V - They're a bit crass at times, but they're chock full of good information.

And the best advice - Find someone you know who gets laid a lot and ask them what they do. Just like you'd ask someone who knows about cars how to fix your car, you need to ask guys who are actually getting laid how they get laid.

I've read a bit of chateaus blog. He seems a tad bit cynical or crass. I just don't want to be a asshole, but I'm tired of feeling like a beta bitch.
