Hello, I'll keep this brief. But this has been bugging me for weeks now and I just want to know what I did wrong and if the situation is still salvageable.
So I'm in college, I'm a few years older than this girl (which gives me a huge advantage, right??) that I met at a party. We hung out most of the evening and all my friends noted that she seemed really into me and everything was going well until her friend got sick and we took her home, I walked them back.
So then I texted her the next day. I'm pretty decent at texting, and she was responding well and was writing really long responses to my texts. I invited her to another party and we met up there with a bunch of her friends. She seemed distant and I managed to iso her from the group a few times but her friends kept coming up to us so I would go talk to other people when this happened. I wasn't really sure what to do in that sort of situation so I tried to play it off like I didn't care. Then she left with them and that was that.
So I pretty much wrote her off until she texted me the next day asking how my night was, we talked for a bit and I was going to ask if she wanted to get dinner, but she stopped responding right before I could ask, and then responded later that evening and I was busy and didn't see it till way late (so I didn't respond).
Anyway I texted her the other day and we talked for a bit, but she stopped responding again. It is break and stuff, but it seems to be a weird pattern. I'm not overly worked up about it, but I do like her and was wondering if the situation is salvageable and what I could have done better. I've been out of the game for a while after a major surgery so I am a bit rusty...
