Pua steers u towards mindfulness that's why it feels like ure emotions are not gone but less heightened.

Good human interactions are chemical, not mechanical. If you ever feel like you're forcing or overthinking something as a result of game, you're probably not doing it right. Become a well-socialized, sexual man, not a notch-counting robot.

I would think this is what the game is about, forcing you to find the most optimal way to socialize. If it feels forced or over thought, it's most likely because you've been doing it wrong your whole life.

Hmm. Forcing it to not feel forced, you do have a point. But we see a lot of people "fake it til they make it;" perhaps it is no longer forced but becomes natural simply out of habit and experience? Then that could apply to quelling one's emotions as well, which in some ways would be beneficial to a PUA's goals.

But that's what I'm getting at. Emotions aren't the enemy. In fact, many of us take up game to serve some emotional need. Game may need you to quash many habits based from your emotions to change, but I don't think it's about habituating consistently ignoring your emotions or not actually feeling them at all. It's more about learning responsible control, not just for the sake of sex, but for having social interactions that are more satisfying to you. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?

Hit the nail on the head here. Emotions are present regardless. You can do your best to squash them but underneath your emotional exterior your going to be screaming for an implosion. In fact most people will perceive someone emotionless as depressed or sad, after all they must be hiding something for a reason... and most of the time it's some sort of negative reason.

"It's more about learning responsible control." That's perfectly said. But you can't do so in the game without feeling the broad spectrum of emotions. To go out, run routines, and try and close without a specific tone or body language that reflects acceptable display rules (such as happiness and joy) would most likely get you back at home whacking off to redtube because you blew another night.

Calibration is the big thing here, as many guys will preach. You have to go out, do your thing, and find which emotions are acceptable and which aren't. Paul Ekman is a renowned psychologist who believes that life could be lived much more satisfactorily without the use of emotions altogether. Thus, even the most experienced believe they can be a crutch. But by golly would it suck to wake up next to that HB9 and think, too easy, instead of having that giant sh1t grin spread across your face
