Default How to get over embarrassment?

Hey everyone, I know this has nothing to do with puckup, but my i need help with how to get over something extremely embarrassing.

My friends and I are all back home from college and a already embarrassing story of me came up and then it turned into a nightmare. I cant handle it, when I went to sleep that night all I could think about is them laughing at me and telling everyone, thats all I could think about when I would up too.

Its not some average embarrassing moment in highschool or anything like that its something that happened to me after my first year of college over the summer with all my friends. I really dont even want to tell you guys. Like I dont want my friends telling anyone but one just has a really loud mouth.

    Any suggestions.

Only think you can do is laugh with them, and act like it don't bother you.....people are bastards if they see it gets to you they'll keep doing it, so chin up, laugh along and don't worry about what other people think duno what else you can do sorry, hope this helps

yes - society will not accept things that sre abnormal.

so behave like if it is normal.

if u fart and act awkward... guess what.?
if u fart and laugh and fan ur fart to them... guess what.?

this also applies to guys who go out and follow a strange dress code.

a guy walking around in 70s workout gear is wierd
a group of guys doing the same thing is percieved fun n cool

u must make it appear the norm.

and as for ur loud mouth friend... u call him a friend.? dude can't control what he says.

Everyone has embarrassing moments. But the person who's making it embarrassing is yourself. In your mind, you've giving some kind of act (regardless of what it was) some meaning or value that you're perceiving as being embarrassing. If you can let that go, then what?

People bring it up, it doesn't bother you.

    It's no big deal.

    Stuff happens.

But if you can show that it doesn't bother you, your friends lose the reaction their trying to draw out of you from it. It's not fun for them anymore, and they'll let it go.

    Hopefully that helps!
