    Default Club dancing

I need help. My dancing game is, how to put it, lacking, and at best, guess movements. I'm the kinda guy that will go and fist pump at a club because I don't know how to dance, or if I grind with a girl, my dancing will not seduce them.

So, if anyone can help point me in the right direction for what dances I should learn, please do tell. I'll start with some examples:

    1) Example One --- Dancing to We speak No Americano

    2) Example Two --- I know you want me

    3) Example Three - Party Rock Anthem

    3) Example Four --- Lil Jon(Feat. LMFAO) -- Drink (My favourite song)

    4) Example Five --- Niggas in Paris by Jay Z

Three different varieties of song. How does one, me, being a guy, dance to this sh1t solo or with a girl and with what kind of dances? I want to seduce the women with the dancing, not look awesome or anything.

Dude, before you learn any dances like the shuffle or something to that effect, you need to learn to just to like the basic......thing I suppose.

Its all in the knees, just kinda bounce along to the music. Try first at you house. Just kinda go up and down in place to the beat until you have no problem doing that. Then, keeping your feet planted, try to add in a little swaying left and right with your shoulders. Almost like you are marching in place but with your shoulders not your feet.

Keep doing that to music at your house for a while till you get the feel. Then try taking a small step to the left or right keeping in pace with the beat. Start nodding you head to the music, very lightly that its. Eventually you will figure out your own little thing. Everyone's is different. But you MUST learn this most basic sort of in place dance before you can try like an actual dance type.

If you go straight to trying to shuffle like LMFAO you will find yourself attempting to "memorize" steps which is the most ineffective way to start. It WILL feel natural. Just get what I call the basic step down as I describe above. Once you get that down, go to the club. You will see other guys doing just that. Look at what they do for a bit, they will each have their own little variation. Have no shame. If you see a dude moving in a way that looks like it "works" steal that little element of the vibe he has. Just be sure you only get little bits a pieces from many different people and not entirely copy one person.

The most important thing to remember that really helped me with loosing my self conscience (which I found was what was holding me back), is that no one on the floor is paying attention to you. They may look at you, but they are not really paying you mind. I have seen dudes dance in the goofiest ways and pull ladies. As long as you:

    1) Act like you know what you are doing (wether you do or not)
and 2) keep in beat with the music you will be fine.

I would recommend hitting raves though. Look into dubstep shows and the EDM scene in general. People there are usually very friendly .....Its just like an opener with a female. Just act like you know what you are doing and it works out

    Thank you. Very helpful.

I am also interested in the kind of dances that are used for that kind of music(other than the shuffle)

Look into ticking and strobing. I prefer those very much at the club. They are simple and very cool to watch.

like mentioned above, everyone has their own variation of the "basic step." I get complimented on my dancing constantly at EDM shows and parties, though they require different types of dancing. I would say you need to remember to have total confidence in what you're doing. Don't seek other's approval in your moves, and have absolutely no doubt in yourself that you're a great dancer, and it will be attractive to women. Good luck
