Re: Serious confidence issues
I could tell you to just go for it. But that would be taking the easy way out.
You have to understand a few things. First is that it's all in your head. But that's obvious right? What's not so obvious is that the more you give yourself time to think about the situations the more excuses you come up with. Then you become like two drivers reaching the intersection at the same time. Waving at each other to let the other one go, but no one is going. Until you both decide to go at the same time and BAM! It's clunky and confusing.
In case that was still obvious then here's something else. The truth is...you're GOING to make mistakes. It's unavoidable. Absolutely nothing you can do about it. So why stress? Accept it. The real mistake is not handling your initial mistakes like an alpha. Do you apologize to her endlessly? Or do you shrug your shoulders and say "Yea. I have my moments where I'm a jerk."
One thing I used to tell myself when I caught myself thinking too much. In the middle of all my excuses I'd just say "Fuck it!" and just do it. Don't even think about it and go for it. Well look at that. I ended up saying to go for it anyways. :P
