    Default close to hotel

    Hello all,

I'm soon going on a date with a girl I like. Date will involve a restaurant and maybe go for drinks after. I would like to be more assertive this time, as this would be our 5th date. I don't want to take her to my place because it's a crappy apartment. She lives with her parents, so no way we are going there.

How can I make it so going to a hotel would be a good idea? How do I sell it?

    Thanks!

A girl isn't going to care if your apartment is small & crappy... as long as it's not trashed & gross.

I took my fiancee back to my little, crappy apartment the 2nd time we met up. It's TINY & not decorated at all... but it was clean & uncluttered, so it didn't matter.

So, if your apartment is just dirty, clean it. Problem solved.

Not many girls will go for a hotel room early on... that's usually a "special occasion / night out" kind of thing.

A hotel can be one of two things for a girl...
    1) she may think of it as a nice thing, but that is reserved for later on like when you two are planning something special. (as T-Mal said)
    or
    2) she may find it creepier than your apartment.

She may feel like an unclassy girl if you take her to a hotel. She will also think, "he has a place of his own, why would we go to a hotel"

Clean up your apartment. Spray it down with some Febreeze. If you are that worried, buy some little things, like a painting of some sort and hang it on your wall.
Unless you have a lot of samuri swords and college posters, don't worry. Clean your bathroom too. Girls judge guys on that.
