Re: Getting FREAKING ANTSY
I understand you man. I go to a college of population 2,500, and I can tell you that the social life is not booming every night.
I do get out every now and again, such as last night. I also make plans in advance, as in the case of my birthday three weeks from now. I am excellent with firing up conversations in public though, and my Facebook and text game has now become pretty hardcore. Those three things are the ones that I need to depend on the most being on a campus like this.
I have been studying Buddhism for a while now, mainly because I see so much usage out of it. The second of the Four Noble Truths states that desire is the root of suffering. Once you learn to conquer your desire, you learn to conquer your suffering. Right now, it seems like your desire is to get out and escape from your environment. The best way I can see for you to conquer your insistence on getting out is to occupy yourself with other activities. You love being on the forums? Get some books and start reading, watch Youtube videos on pickup interactions, take notes on who you are and really learn to figure out about yourself and what you're looking for. Just keep your mind in the now and focused on overcoming your own desire: being successful with women. And how do you do it? Simply, to take the steps necessary to overcome the desire that when you do not have it, it brings you pain.
