    Default Over thinking posture

I was out gaming last night and I noticed that I was over thinking about how I was siting and how I was facing,I ended up looking like I was fidgeting. Is there something I can do you stop over thinking or is this a normal thing when starting to game?

    Hi man,

Did you go to a club? If so I have a little advice I learned yesterday and also tested it last night and it worked like a charm.

Went to a few clubs last night with my new housemate so wanted to show him town a bit. Great thing is he enjoys dancing so I could literally stay on the floor pretty much all night long, but thats not the point.

While dancing you need to ignore girls completely for a while. Be in your own little world, a fun sociable friendly and smiley world. I did that last night was rocking the dance floor, talking to random guys like I knew them for ages, making friends with them, dancing, was great. Then I noticed it actually works, as girls seemed to be attracted by my energy and that I was in the centre of attention, and I completely didn't give a single fark about it. Was simply enjoying myself. Girls were checking me out, 3-4 sets started to dance around me and they were opening up while I was closer allowing me to enter into their cirle and dance with them. Danced with a few but without any major stuff happening. Thats the next part I need to work on as at the time I felt like I need to say something before I come up to a girl and start dancing with her, which was kind of impossible because of the loud music, should have used more body language and non verbal communication but I was having such a great time I didnt even care that having so many chances and opportunites I farked up quite well, but in the end it was a great experience and a great lesson for me, even managed to get few numbers from blokes haha, maybe next time it wont be just me and my housemate but my social circle will expand

So regarding your question, my advice would be to simply relax more and assuming it was in a club, why were you sitting anyway? Shouldn't you be all over the floor?

Right, so I'm assuming you're also a DJ? if so then I guess you guys did get on quite well, which technically means you should be relaxed and basically just having a good time, I am no expert at all but I think you should have a look at some of the 'how to be alpha' topics as they kind of explain how to have a proper attitude, posture etc.

Back to your first question, I used to do that a lot at first. Focusing so much on how I should sit that I didn't even listen to what people were saying to me.

Why? Because it was not natural. Like a guy who spars for the first time and keeps thinking about how to place his feet and how to breath because people told him it was important, but forgets to punch or block.

It's important, but you should not have to think, it should be natural.

How? Practice. Every time you are by yourself, be careful about your sitting and all non-verbal stuff. Taking the subway is great for this, as you get a constantly changing situation, no talking, and you can do it every day.

Do it everytime you have the occasion, until it becomes second nature to you.
