Well I feel you've already lost this one, but I don't see the big deal. So you fucked up. Whoopdee fucking doo. I tell guys all the time that it's not about making mistakes. It's about what you do AFTER. And what did you do? Kiss her ass and tried apologizing.
Now, I'm not saying she doesn't deserve something from you. But not for you to scramble and try and pick up the pieces. Just be cool and realize you fucked up. It's not your fault cause you obviously wouldn't have said anything if you knew. Here's what I'd say:
"Wait....are you for real? (with a confused smile) Wow. Guess I'm going to hell for that one. Oh. You hear that? I think the devil just reserved my seat. He can be such a gentleman sometimes."
When you get the chance change the subject. Don't stay on it. Change her mood, not her mind.
