Default What is the best way to learn an aspect of the game? What works best?

    Hi guys,

Im still new to the art of the game. I wanna learn to master push/pull. Ive been reading articles here and there on the net, but so far the technique hasn't sunk in.

What do you guys find is the best way to learn something new? Reading, practising? memorizing?

Im thinking I should read as much as i can, memorize some lines and then go and practice.

    What does everyone suggest?

    Steps to success:

    1) Read
    2) Put into practice
    3) Analyze
    4) Re-read
    5) Repeat

Bonus step of asking for help if you get stuck on something.

For me, it was like weeks-months - after I've decided I wanted get into it. Read e-books, watch lectures, read websites, ask here.
For me, the entering point was the Mystery Method - I watched the show, read the book, watch another videos, lectures etc. from Mystery. Then one thing led to another.

I recommend you youtube channels belongs to top PUAs, and the 21 Convention dor example. They have great, fulltime stuffs on youtube.

I think it's important to train your mind for the game - for me, it was essential. Of course you won't gonna just go out and play hardcore after watching and reading stuffs, but after you entered this world in that way, your mind, thinking about things will be changed. I constantly reading and watching PUA stuffs, and it somehow form my though in that direction.

Honestly you will never get no where if you don't put those knowledge into practice. Go out and some failures under your belt

Then try to get out of your comfort zone/ association and meet random women. No excuses or regrets just go out there and see what happens

WTF does this mean?? Are you saying that you have f-closed 143 women? If you have f-closed this many women then you HAVE game. I'm confused what your asking here.

I think he is referring to cold approach, and he probably didn't have a system he was consciously using

You need to approach this skillset pragmatically. It's like learning any other skill. Let's say you are trying to learn algebra. You can't start with algebraic. You have to start with counting, then addition, then subs traction, then multiplication, then long division, then short division, then pre-algebra, then algebra. It's a step-by-step pragmatic approach. You cannot learn the next skill until you've mastered the previous skill. So... Start with opening. First learn theory, then go out, see where you feel successful and where you fail, ideally find a wing that's better than you who can give you feedback, where you mess up, refer to forums and further material to see what you did wrong, and repeat Til you've mastered that skill then go to the next. A lot of guys try to learn the whole method at once and fall into analysis paralysis. Don't be that guy.

    Thanks cdharders,

Ya I'm trying to get comfortable with opening first. A year from now Im going to be the master of push/pull. thats my goal. ....as far as the number 143, ya I have f-closed that many too date approximately. But that too me isnt game. Like I said, I got laid by association. Tight knit group of good looking party boys. My game has always been "Direct"...eithe r you f*rk me or I kick you out of my car. That to me is not game. I want to learn to manipulate women into instead of me asking for sex, they ask me. I want to learn manipulation, not my way for years...terrorizing them if they turn me down.
