Default Rescheduling after failed meet up

    Hello everyone,

BACK STORY: I met a girl a couple of weeks before I left for home for the holidays and we seemed to hit it off. We met up at one point, however, and we kissed but nothing hefty (for reasons I won't get into here that was about all that could be worked out). After that, I asked her to go get drinks. She agreed but then day of when I sent her a confirmation text she apologized and said she wouldn't be able to make it because work had gotten busy, and she asked if we could reschedule for another time. Well I was busy until after I returned from vacation.

So I spent the break trying to build some more comfort and attraction over text, and I think it went pretty well. She gave some good IOIs and it was all light and flirty. But I know texting isn't where progress is made..

    THE QUESTION:
So when we return from break next week, how should I go about re-engaging her for a meet up? Should I bring up our failed meet up and ask her if she's going to take me out (or something), invite her out with me and friends, etc.

I'm leaning toward just inviting her out with some friends and see how that goes (try to seal the deal a bit more) before anything else.

Thoughts on how to best shrug off a failed meet up and get another one after a couple of weeks? Thanks guys.

Seems like you both had valid reasons to reschedule. It might be lack of intrest but I wouldn´t say so based on what you wrote. She has invested cause she kissed and may be cautious if she´s not sure about you.

I would ask her out so that there is only you and her. Although friends bring her comfort it lowers your value since you didn´t went straight to her. She might know whats going on and might even wait for you to step up.

You have much bigger change of her flaking again but "you win some you lose some". If she doesnt want to see you just move on.

If you do decide to take her friends with her I advice to take any isolation change you can get. When I went to group date I couldnt get isolation I wanted although I tried and it was really close. She flaked afterwards when I tried to ask her for 1on1 date. (although we clearly got attraction going on)

But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and
recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before
you and how fabulous you really looked….

Thanks for the advice man, I probably shouldn't do a group invite cause last time we went out I had trouble isolating her. Good point!

Think I should message her as soon as I get back or wait a bit longer... Hmm.
