Default How much of the stuff from "The Game" is outdated?

How much of the stuff from Neil Strauss's book is outdated? 10%? 90%?
All women are the same, but they just want different versions of the same thing.

The principles are still totally relevant.
But the routines mentioned in the book are getting outdated from overuse.

Don't use the exact routines/openers from the book, but the principles still work, like T-Mail pointed out.

For example from the very beginning I didn't like openers they provided that I couldn't relate to,which means I had to lie, like the oh so popular jealous girlfriend opener,If I tried opening a set with this opener I would constantly get too nervous because I would always psych myself whether or not they're going to buy the story,so all I did was change the openers to which I could relate to,or about me,so I could actually have a conversation.

You can use canned openers, but don't pick the ones like Jealous Girlfriend, because it's about a specific scenario, which you didn't experience and may have you look awkward if they start asking you questions about it.

I liked the "Is kissing cheating opener?"The 2nd part especially with the "girl kissing a girl" scenario.

yet again t-mal has beat me to the post lol but he's spot on as usual.

most of the stuff used in the game is not outdated, you just have to be able to adapt it for your own personality.

    just remember,

mystery's "its not lying its flirting" mentality only works when going for one night stands (otherwise she will find out you lied to her)

don't use canned lines. they will help you at first and then cripple you later on. most of them are "dis-ingenuous" at the very least.

the nlp stuff that he talks about with ross Jeffries can and will creep woman out countlessly. don't use it unless you really know what you're doing.

"the game" by neil struass is not a guidebook for how to be a pua. but rather an interesting story made for the purpose of entertainment. it was not designed to teach you how to get woman.

that said, he does cover a large amount of the pua community and what different gurus are like. many of the characters from the book went on to write their own guidebooks wich are very helpful.

as for good guidebooks personally I like david de angelo's "double your dating, and david x's "be relentless"
