    Default Bartender pick up

So, I have been going to this bar around the corner from my house weekly. Gotten to know and speak to almost all the bartenders. Most recognize me. Anyway, last week I was there on a Thursday night having a quick drink. Was starting up a conversation with a bartender. HB7 or HB8. Just quick meaningless convo. Well, I noticed her singing and nodding her head a bit (Not loudly but to herself). I called her over to me (Bar wasn't packed or too loud so we could hear just fine). I told her I noticed her singing and we started talking about music. I told her I don't like modern music, I prefer 70s and 80s music. She playfully insisted modern day bands were better, so I told her to write down her top 3 fav bands and I would listen to them. She wrote them down (Had never heard of any of them) and she actually wrote down 4 bands and 1 specific song from each one of the bands. I left. Well, earlier today I went in and she noticed me right away. Said "Hey! Whats up! Did you listen to that music I gave you" I told her yeah. Requested a menu and I told her I would tell her about it when she got a free second. (she was waiting on a few other customers). I really did listen to the bands. Omg, they sound HORRIBLE to me. I of course didn't tell her that. I told her "Band #1 was ok, Band #2 I just couldn't get into, but the last two on the list I actually kinda liked. She gave me a little crap about not liking the first two but all in good fun.

Ended up having her come over more often this time and talking. Pulled out a Facebook page to show her. It's a thing called Tipsy Bartender. Asked her if she could make anything on it and she found something. Made it, she tried it, said she wasn't wild about it. She gave me another drink and didn't charge me for that one. Well, ended with me giving her a list of 3 songs I wanted her to listen to. Any idea where I should go after this??????? I can't KEEP doing the music conversation with her haha.

the "tipsy bartender" thing was a great idea, anytime you come up with a new drink you want to try, have her make it special just for you.

you could talk about drinking or about any "roudy" customers/ other situational stuff at the bar.

I would suggest using your thread about music as a way to carry into talking to her about her personal life.

you could use a line like, "if I was a girl, that is the song I would sing in the shower" and tease her about how she probably sings it in the shower while she touches herself. (getting into sexual topics a little bit will often make girls think about what it would be like to do things with you)

I would recommend using her fb as a way to message her and get her hanging out with you outside of her workplace. ( the key to getting any hired gun is to get her to see you outside of her workplace)

that is your next move. the sooner you get a date, the better. change your relationship from being a "customer relationship" to being a personal (and sexual) relationship.

Fantastic idea and thanks for the compliment on the tipsy bartender thing. I do need to escalate to a more sexual conversation but I don't think I have enough comfort to do that with her yet. I'm not Facebook friends with her. I wish I was. I just showed her my phone and opened Facebook up for her. She used my phone to read the ingredients and make the drink. I will try to thread off of my music topic to something else about her to talk about and try to create interest from her. Do you think I should try to be Facebook friends with her? If so, how would you recommend an attempt that comes off natural and harmless?

you're doubting yourself. the truth is that if you believe in yourself, you can get away with anything. (besides, what's life if you never take some chances?)

I will try to thread off of my music topic to something else about her to talk about and try to create interest from her.
get rid of the word "try". you "will thread off the music topic to other topics" and you "will create interest in her"

trying is for losers. either fully commit yourself to success or don't even try. that is how you become a winner.

Do you think I should try to be Facebook friends with her? If so, how would you recommend an attempt that comes off natural and harmless?
forget about being facebook friends, get her number.

just be cool about it. while you're talking to her, tell her "you seem pretty cool, maybe if you're lucky i'll hangout with you one of these days" (hand her your phone with the "add new contact" page pulled up) (if she gives you any sh!t about not giving her number to customers, just say "and I thought we were friends...")

she'll give you her number, they always do

from there, just text her and get a date. she'll want to hang out, she wouldn't give you her number if she didn't want to.

I'd tell you "good luck", but you're a winner, you don't need luck
