My friend that's depend of how bad you feel.

If you feel bad because a strong cause (Dead, medical issues, family trouble, and something that you can't control) The best thing is to let it happen, it's good to feel bad sometimes, don't force yourself to be happy, that won't help in nothing.

In exchange, if you fell down because somethin minor (You wake up like that' because work, shcool or something like that) The best thing you can do is do all those things that cheer you up. Listen your favorite music, view your favorite series/movie, go and walk on the street and relax. Talk with your friends.

Basically, get inmersed in others things.

    Hope that helped.

Stand tall and smile. This helps allot. One thing I always do is think about my situation and how it could be worse. Many people have it allot worse then you. The problems you have are nothing compared to others. This puts your situation in perspective.

Also, think about all the good things you have going in your life and focus on them. Think about your good characteristics. Positive thoughts beget positive thoughts and vice versa.

You know, I was feeling down the other day because of some stupid shit going on in my life. I went to grab a bite to eat and in this restaurant was a father with his daughter. She was in a wheel chair and obviously mentally handicapped. The father sat there feeding her, and wiping her face, and talking to her, although she really couldn't respond. When they were done he wheeled her out to his van and loaded her in with a lift.As I sat there I thought to myself what kind of idiot am I that I thought my problems were such a big deal, because in the grand scheme of things they really aren't !!!!

    A little exercise that helps me avoid slipping into depression is;

When I see someone that is worst off then me I say out loud "give thanks". Do this when you're out of ear shot of course.

Constant reinforcement of how lucky you are builds up a thick skin for when things go sour.

I find that there is no better medication than a nice cup of tea, and a good workout session. (both cause your body to produce more serotonin and thus make you feel happier and more energetic temporarily)

also, anytime you have a negative thought that persists, try thinking about the positive.

    example:
sometimes I wish I was taller, and had abs, its easy to get caught up in the negative, but when I'm down, I remind myself how lucky I am, at least I'm almost average height, and I'm barely overweight, some people would kill to be skinny enough to wear a medium sized tee shirt.

sometimes I wish I had more friends, but then I remind myself how nice it is to have a small pack of loyal friends who I can trust.

sometimes I wish I was married to an amazing woman, but then I remember how nagging and annoying women can be lol

my point is, we're all better off than we think we are. you just have to realize it.

Exercise and physical activity helps to keep one positive.

Being active in general helps you to stay positive.

If you are in a grim mood, listen to your favorite songs that are upbeat, for me it's Green Day's "Holiday" by Green Day, and Eric Idle's "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" sometimes.

If you have friends, hang out with them, and they can likely cheer you up.

There is the book The Luck Factor I would recommend reading. A lot of people are lucky largely due to perspective. When given a setback they say "It could be worse," and see how it could have been worse. I find that helps me out a lot.

    Thanks for the advice guys,

I took it on board and actually started producing again, I put all my concentration into it and finished a track in 2 days, which im very pleased about because usually I don't really finish any productions but in the software I used it said it was worked on for 7 and a half hours which is pretty good as I have seen a few artists say it takes them from 4 hours to three weeks to finish a track

Also Fire Eater or anyone else have anymore books that are interesting?
