Default Is traveling and seeing the world all it's cracked up to be?

I mean it's nice as I myself have traveled places, BUT in the end I really don't see the big increase in happinness from traveling and it seems just something to DHV brag about like even among regular people. They talk about their vacation, but it's not like the experiences ACTUALLY changed them in any way vs something like doing 100 approaches in pickup does.

So what is it specifically that makes traveling such a big deal to people vs putting more of your time and effort into creating your own art like if you have a business or if you're a musician and consumed by doing mostly?

Travelling = adventure , meeting new people and cultures, stepping out of your comfort zone, seeing the beauty of the world. Of course a 2 week trip somewhere won't change you man, you need to live at least a year in another country to start changing. The people who say otherwise are just bragging and showing off.

I would say that everybody, if you can, travel through Scandinavia ( Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland) They are some of the most beautiful women in the world ( if you like tall blondes) , they have no hangups about sex, most of them have great personalities, they are educated, and have a great outlook on life since all those countries are always rated as the happiest countries in the world. The funny thing is that the guys in those countries are lame when it comes to pickup, they are like anti-pua and most of the times the girls are the ones doing the perusing. You will blow these girls away if you are confident, funny, bold, and flirty ..... can't tell you how many times I heard " I've never met a guy like you"( No Shit, Sweetheart !!!). A trip I highly recommend if you can do it. I did five weeks after college, stayed in hostels most of time and ate in tiny little inexpensive restaurants to keep the costs down. One word of warning; Norwegian girls can drink and will drink you under the table so don't challenge them to any drinking games

There is a difference between 'travelling' and 'taking a vacation'.

When you take a vacation, let's say somewhere like Thailand or Bali, you book a resort for 2 weeks, hang out at the pool bar and only ever venture out to go and do the touristy things: tours, shopping and restaurants. But the idea is to have a holiday and relax in the one place.
That same idea, only 'travelling' would suggest being there for months on end and you would start somewhere in the north side of the country and slowly work your way through to somewhere in the south (or even through multiple countries). How do you get from one end to the other? You don't know and you don't really care either. You generally don't have much of a plan, you stay in hostels because they're cheap and full of people in the same position as you, you eat from the street stalls and shop from the markets.

You immerse yourself in their culture.

Some really interesting things happen that you don't realise until you return home.
You have a whole new appreciation of where you're from and the life you live, you discover A LOT about yourself that you would never have known until you travel and you will make friends for life!!

And that's where your real DHV stories will come from!
