Default Starting off in the game

I'm a 27 year old male and just moved back to my hometown. I haven't lived here in years and I really don't have any friends in this area. The population here is quite small (around 25,000 or so) and I want some tips on how I can smoothly transition my way to meet women at a bar. I believe that nobody should ever go to the bar by themselves, they should walk in with, at least, one other person

Are there any smart ideas on how I can break out of this shell and meet women? I DO NOT want my primary focus to just be women - I want to be able to meet other people as well. Do you believe that there is a way I can walk into a bar or some other social gathering by myself and make it work out just fine?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I go out by myself all the time. I haven't found it to hinder me. I just talked to the hottest girl in the bar that I went to today. In my opinion, having a wing takes down my alpha male status. I don't really have a lot of male friends and I never have. Maybe that's something I could work on... but if you look to the future when I have a family.... I don't think my male drinking buddies are going to be all that important to my radar screen...

Dress nice (not a polo shirt, but a button down with some designer jeans) and hopefully you have big muscles already...

Other than that, just approach and open....

How important do you believe physical fitness is? I'm not a big dude at all, but I have been going to the gym ever since I moved back here.

I know some really muscular dudes that get approached by women regularly. Being jacked, but not gross like a bodybuilder is pretty important. And I speak from NO experience because I've never gotten big enough to be considered jacked. I should work on it, but it takes years of dedication.

If you read the book Models by Mark Manson, it will tell you that fashion and fitness are the "two F's" that are like a magic pill to increase your success with women.

Are there any jacked guys here? How's it working for you?
