Default SD, NYC, Austin, or SF?

So I am a programmer living in Philadelphia and I am highly considering quitting my job and moving in a few months. After comparing many cities based on social, quality of girls and tech industry I narrowed it down to basically these four cities that I would like to move to:

Austin, TX (Very young city, pretty cheap amazing weather)
San Diego, CA (Also cheap and amazing weather, heard everyone is nice there)
New York City, NY (all around awesome but WAY expensive and could get cold)
San Francisco, CA (As expensive as NYC except I hear not very hot girls, alot of gay people BUT beautiful weather and probably the best tech scene out of the other choices.)

I have applied to jobs in all of them and my preference of the cities is the order in which I listed them. However I haven't actually been to any of these cities(except NYC) I have just done some google research which is why I want a second opinion from a perhaps well traveled person. Out of these 5 cities(lets include Philadelphia, PA - where I live now) which one would you want to live in and in what order?

Im a programmer living in Philadelphia too. Just moved here from Tampa though! I've been to only NYC from your list of cities. May be you can tell me a thing a two about Philadelphia and the pick up scene here.

Sure, the main bars are basically Ladder15, Tarvern on Broad then Howl at the moon on thursdays in Center City and Plough the Stars and National Mechanics for Olde City. Manayunk is a good college town Mad River is great on Thursdays. Time($5), Fado and Bru is also decent and worth checking out. When summer hits Morgans Pier is the BEST place to game.

    For a basic rundown:
    Thurs: Howl, Mad River
Fri/Sat: Tavern, Ladder, Plough, National Mechanics, Time/bru/fado, Morgans Pier(Summer)
Sun: I hear Mcgillians is good but never been.
    Mon: I have no idea.
Tues: Fox & Hound is a swing and a miss.
Wed: Nothing much except Draught House maybe til summer - City sips is AWESOME! Check out the comcast building during City sips.

For daygame its Rittenhouse square and King of Prussia mall.

    Happy sarging!
