    Hi Mike

At a 'Salsa' Class, all the girls line up on one side and the guys line up on the other and so you have a partner right from the off, then after you have practiced that step with that partner (about 5 minutes) everyone then moves down one and then you get to dance with someone else.

Which means that there is Zero Chance! that you will be left on your own, as that just doesn't happen.

You may like 'Le Roc' even better, as its the modern version of 'Jive' and only has a few simple Steps to master.

Which ever one of those you choose, I am sure you will have a great time as no one tends to take it as seriously as learning to ball room dance and if you make a load of mistakes which everyone does to begin with, then they will be laughing with you and NOT at you.

So you have nothing to fear by going along on your own.

Just don't take things too seriously and I'm sure that you will have a really good time and soon find other people you can gel with.
The Power in a Relationship always goes to the one who cares the least
