    Default SHY, a myth?

The concept seems too simple. No girl is shy unless she finds the right reason. Or maybe some are too guarded and hopeless..? ha

To me, shy girls are a bit of a challenge, mostly because the interaction can stretch for a much longer period of time in the comfort stage. Passing through Attraction stage I found it very very easy, though.

Why some women are shy really depends. It could come from bad past experience in a social situation, the environment in which she was raised, general vibe of uneasiness, has been a target of criticism, put-downs, negative comparisons, indifference, emotional abuse ( like ridicule, public or not ), child abuse, hell it can even be genetically.

So they need to be handled very carefully. You can easily force them into an awkward situation if you're not careful, or worse, sometimes you can make them feel overpowered by your personality, in a negative way, if you're too outgoing.

If you do your job in the comfort stage and actually LISTEN to them and to what they have to say, you're good. Usually ( I'm telling you this from 1st hand experience ) you need to put out more than her at first, but when she opens up, she's like a totally different girl/woman.

Two weeks ago, I got one to chat. We were side by side. So occassional jokes warmed her up. We ran into each other a few more time so I took it to number. I'm wondering how rare that is.Then there's the OTHER girls who need texts or typing for weeks on end. By the time they fizzle out, you've wasted time.

That's the problem with shy girls, it's very time consuming and most PUA's generally steer away from them because of this simple fact. You could have easily closed 2-3 HB's that are outgoing by nature.

It's not that rare that they give you their number, because they still like getting attention, just like normal outgoing HB's. It's how you game them afterwards, they need to feel that you are invested in her and she feels that certain high degree of comfort in order to get somewhere with them, even on a simple date.

Thanks for the help. I think I'll start doing that, not wasting my time.

Talking is easy. I'm confident I can bring anyone out or not give a...It's once I do pickup mode (want a number) then that's when things get shaky. lol
