Hey PUA experts

Joined the forum looking for a little advice. Here's the deal. In the past 5 years, I was in 2 almost back to back serious relationships. I'm only 20, and I recently split with my gf over many reasons. I like to think that I'm attractive and interesting, but truth be told I remained fully faithful in both relationships, and haven't had any practice flirting or dating since the middle of high school.

A while back (while i was still dating my ex), i ran into a very cute girl I went to elementry school with at a gas station. She came right up and tried to talk to me, but my gf was in the car and essentially I pretended not to remember her.. it was awkward, but I didn't care at the time. Now that I'm single and looking to make some new lady friends, I decided she would be a good place to start.

I saw her on facebook, and took the opportunity to say hello. The convo was light, it went basically as follows.

me: helloo
her: well hello
me: remember that one time you tried to talk to me and i made it really awkward for you?
her: haha yes
me: well i figured id return the favor and awkwardly say hello to you this time
her: haha no big deal

We then proceeded to chat for a couple minutes about what we had planned for the summer. She said she was gonna go, so I told her to hold up. I told her that being the preschool teacher that she was, i was going to go out on a whim and assume she was the type that would appriciate kung fu panda. I said we should hang out sometime this week, ride my motorcycle around for a while and then catch it. She said ya she was "so down", gave me her digits and after another minute of minor chit chat that was that.

Essentially I guess all i'm wondering at this point is how long I should wait to call/text her? Like I said, I think im attractive funny and interesting.. i'm a confident guy, the date will be no problem. I just haven't had to deal with situations like this in what feels like FOREVER. So what do you guys think? Wait a couple days, text her? I don't want to come off as needy or annoying or something. How would you guys play this best?
