Default She said - Let me check my schedule...

So I was talking to this girl on OKC and I then asked her what day this week she could join me for coffee. She then said she would have to check her work schedule. At this point idk whether I should wait for her to message me back and tell me when a good time is to meet up or if I should follow up with a message. It's been about a week since she sent the message.

    Any thoughts?

Whenever I ask a girl to do something, it rarely is in the form of a question. If a girl is interested in seeing you, and wants to hang out with you, she will. Girls HATE making decisions. They absolutely loathe it. How many times have you asked a girl what she was hungry for and you give 1000 ideas and she still can't make up her mind?
Girls are reactive creatures. They are not initiators (rarely are, I won't say never). So whenever I want to do something with a girl, I direct it towards her.. "Hey, Friday night, let's get coffee around 8." If she has plans, she will let you know. She will probably offer a better time or the next day. She might say something like, "Well how about 8:30?" or... "Well I can't Friday but I can the next day."
Again, it isn't fullproof. It also depends on the level of interest she exhibits in you.

Never fall for the stupid "let me check my schedule" line. Whenever I am iffy about hanging out, I generally say something like, "I might be busy, but I'll let you know." All i truly mean is... If something better pops up I am going to do that instead, but if not, I'll resort to you. Just be weary and cautious with that response in the future.

Thanks for the response i really appreciate it. I'm still trying to get in the feel of being more direct rather than asking a question. I'll definitely just suck it up next time and call the shots.

So should i follow up and give a day and time? Or just write her off?

Depends on what kind of attraction you feel she has with you. If you feel that there is something, then I would try to go at it again, in a more direct way. But if it's nothing special, I would just write her off and find something new. Trust me when I say this, there are PLENTY of other fish in that sea out there.
There are hundreds and hundreds of girls just waiting to be in your grasps.
