Default overcome social anxiety... now what!?

My whole life i was a socially anxious beta but just recently opening converstations and connecting with people has never been so easy. (i feel no anxiety whatsoever)

Overcoming, anxiety is a huge success for me. but now what? i often have no idea what to talk to people about. sometimes "its like i forgot to be human". Its especially akward when im walking past someone in the hallway. my mind is often blank and i suck at small talk.

i do have a lady friend that i could open up with and have a real honest laugh with and shes helped me re-discover myself. too bad she has a boyfriend but at least i could practise my woman talking skills with someone coz i practise at any oppurtunity.

Start here for things to talk about and getting over anxiety.

Too bad she has a boyfriend? Why? Now, you have a woman and a man to help you through this journey. He can't be that bad with women, he has the one you want.

Balance both of their perspectives, forget about the woman as anything but a valued friend, seek advice on here, embrace failure, read, read, read, practice, practice, practice.
I have failed more than most men have tried.

Every woman you pass up is a woman you will never have.

Here's a little trick for small talk
If its Monday or Tuesday ask how the weekend was.
If its Wednesday ask how the week is going.
If its Thursday or Friday ask what if they have anything going on for the weekend

yeah this is a nice, safe template to keep you out of trouble. You'd be surprised how often the conversation gets pretty interesting even when you don't have much to say initially (other than "what's goin on this weekend"). Maybe something she says will trigger something in your mind that's interesting--you don't have to have the whole conversation planned out, but having a go-to question/topic will keep those awkward pauses out of there.

Drink a few beers and then call your cable/ cell phone provider. Call until you get an HB (it'll make you care more about what she thinks of you). Ask to review your bill/ new promotions, and then try to start conversation and flirt with her in the process. You're not likely to go anywhere with her, but if she's receptive to your "game" you can make her laugh and enjoy her job. Your benefit comes from analyzing how the conversation jumped from topic to topic and how you can control it. Do it enough and then incorporate some material into RL situations. The biggest thing I learned from this was how to really pay attention to HB, instead of waiting for my chance to talk. Be natural. Good luck
