Default Need an answer for a simple question

OK, so i recently dyed some of my hair red in an attempt to peacock. I can tell women like it as i am an attractive man, but i'm constantly asked "why did you dye your hair?". Now, sometimes they ask playfully, other times they ask with a confused look, these are usually the women i already know.

It would be great if someone could give me good reply.

P.S. I was inspired to dye it after seeing J-dog's hair on the tv show the pick up artist.

My passion is martial arts. I love doing Mixed Martial Arts and I want to continue doing it for as long as I'm able to.

    Heres my problem.

Whenever I get into a conversation about it with a girl, I end up sounding like a violent person. After all, how many ways can you say "I fight as a sport" without sounding like a violent @$$hole? Now this isn't me at all. I'm a nice guy, I promise!

My question is, should I just avoid the subject? Or is there someway I can talk about my passion without comming off as violent?

The martial arts answer is easy. I had a similar issue as I've studied the arts as well. I tell them,

"I didn't learn martial arts because I like to fight. I learned so I won't HAVE to fight...so I can have the peace of mind to know that I can walk away from any confrontation with another guy, because I have nothing to prove...but also to protect myself and/or my loved ones if need be. It also teaches me discipline, keeps me in shape and in good spirits."

Or something similar, you can word it how you want but what I said is the gist of it.
