If you really want to get in shape, we can talk sometime, and I will tell you the basics of the program that I had guys doing, diet and training wise to get sick results. The thing is, there are a lot of boring basic plans out there, but I don't trust anyone who cant get someone else in shape fast, and most of the trainers I see have miserable, hungry, fat clients, who get almost no results for months on end.
When I was training people, I didn't advertise, and I turned away 90% of people who wanted my training. I only took people who I KNEW would put in 100%, because if they where loosing tons of fat every week, and building strength, and confidence, and getting tan and brighter eyes and clearer skin, and then one of their friends decided to get in shape...maybe that friend didn't come to me, for the first 6 weeks. But when they got little to no results with your typical wanna be trainer who still uses the food pyramid and doesnt understand how saturated fat and cholesterol actually give you GOOD results (oops, that was one of my secrets!) , they were begging for it!
The way I had people eating and training was radically different than what the other people where doing, but they were way healthier, and way happier, and got much better results. My point, dont worry about a trainers advertisement, look at their clients results. That is the only thing that matters. The same applies to this
