Because I worked in the fitness industry and it basically consumed my life for many years, I have very strong opinions on this stuff, and I have read the book.
I used to spend my weekends studying medical text books, modern endocrinology, or Metabolic Typing theories, and during the week training guys who got results, fast enough that people thought that they were juicing. The strategies differ than mine in some ways, but there are a million ways to skin a cat, and in the fitness industry there are countless arguments of low calorie vs low carb vs low fat vs carb cycling vs metabolic typing vs blah blah. The marketing, and my way is the only way, is even worse then in the pick up industry.Consistency and having a solid plan is what works, no matter which plan it is, and this one will work if you are consistent.
That said, I wouldn't stress about your hip to waist ratio, thats the loveable virgin who says "thats why I am not getting laid!! MY hip ratio!!" ; get low body fat, and build muscle, and get a tan and your fine, and you can achieve that using this product.
Also, as a former state level body builder, it is now my goal to find and pick up Jackie, because honestly, saying that big guys aren't attractive hurt my ego, and my ego is very fragile, which is why I started body building in the first place, so I have to somehow bring myself up (am I joking? I dunno!)
