Default War on acne

I was really pimply teenager, I used to call it a success to wake up and only find one NEW hideous white head on my face. I went to a dermatologist and she immediately pulled out the accutane pamphlet which when i realized my vanity waist worth taking medication that could lead to seizures, blindness, death and blah blah blah... I started doing a number of things to help myself out and recently I haven't gotten any and I just wanna share a natural way to help yourselves out.

Vitamin k is a nutrient used by the skin to repair its self and is a must. It is found is most dark leafy vegetables such as kale spinach (nutritiondata.com search by nutrient vitamin k if you want to see more.)

When you shave don't use shaving cream that foams up just stick to plain unscented soap its good stuff and has been used before your grandparents were born, simple is better. Shaving is an ART not a chore. Every stroke removes thousands of skin cells and should be a motion that requires 100% focus like meditation. I dont use an aftershave with alchol that burns your face(quite self evident that it might just irritate your skin.) I do use a moisturizer only after shaving though, unscented still the way to go. a lot of people go crazy with moisturizer I used to be one of them it made my acne much worse your body has its own specialized oil that coats your skin, and h20 creates a nice breeding ground for more bacteria to fark on Ur face(the cause of the red spots)

Make sure you stay very hydrated, when you become thirsty your body is already dehydrated so carry a water bottle around and do your best to drink up.

Stress is another major cause of acne at least physically because when stressed you tend to subconsciously pick or scratch at your face. 3 keys to reduce stress:
Exercise: get the sweat out! don't just life weights you need to to get your lungs and heart pumping to release endorphins which keep you happy off a natural high. Ive heard that sweating can rid your body of toxins im no doctor but it has helped me by running every other day.
Yoga or a stretching routine: The problem with exercise is that you become tight or tense and muscles are a too way street to your brain. Just as you tell them what to do they send you signals of pain, and no one can be happy if their back is constantly killing them. Go online and practice loosening up your muscles through stretching. The KEY is to go SLOWLY its just as easy to hurt your self lifting weight as it is stretching and overstretching will actually hurt your muscles recovery progress. Start at a point where you dont feel anything and move till you feel a WARM sensation if you feel hot, burning or pain STOP! you have gone too far!
when doing intence yoga postures breathe through your stomach and don't eat 2 hours before hand.
Meditation: You have revealed stress in your body now its time to relieve stress in your mind. All you need is 15 minutes to YOURSELF and the rest of the day will transform around you, bad things will not stick you just become content again. Their are many great websites to teach your self meditation but the key is simple: Sit straight up cross legged or on the edge of your chair with your hands rested palms up and focus entirely on your breath and nothing else.

Focus with all of your energy on the in between parts of breath where you have finished exhaling but haven't started inhaling and when you have finished inhaling and haven't started exhaling. If you think "im doing good" you fail if you think "what time is it" you fail if you think "this is hard" you fail. The key is NOTHING and once you have reached it you will be so happy because NOTHING can touch you once you control yourself.

One last thing: Acne is caused by bacteria don't bother buying expensive complicated acne medication with like 50 ingredients to kill it and irritate your face so that you have to buy more and more when hydrogen peroxide will work just as well for a lot cheaper(2 bucks a liter beat that.) Get a cotton swab and dab some on your red spots before you got to bed simple effective.

I used to have lots of pimples.

I then tried all things to get rid of them, and now I'm cured.

But I don't know which one that actually cured it...lol

I am over my acne (im 23) but if i have a blemish I use that 'proactive' stuff.

It really works.

Ya I dont have acne anymore (22yrs old) but I still have some scars, and my pores on my nose are abnormally large. Any ideas for fixing those problems?

I did a 6 month course of Accutane for sever acne on my back. It worked perfectly. I did not experience any bad side effects while taking the drug. I would recommend it unreservedly if nothing else is working for you. So there it is...the opinion of someone who had a positive experience with Accutane.

Acne is usually diet related - cutting out grains such as wheat (gluten often affects the skin in a negative way) usually helps A LOT.

Cut things like grains,dairy, anything that has sugar for about 2 weeks and you should definitely see an improvement.

Fizzy drinks don't help your skin either.

Things like olive oil, green veggies, fish, cod liver oil and getting SUNLIGHT help keep your skin healthy.

Get them into your diet and you'll see marked improvement.
