    *** UPDATE ***

    Holy Cow.

I am the luckiest man I've ever met.

Instead of going into the "romantic crap" of my first plans... I followed Xavier's and whitedragon's suggestions and Yesterday I decided to call her and get her to share a coffee with me. She didn't answer the phone when I called her at work (she doesn't have a cell and I wouldn't dare call her at home with her BF around).

So I sent an email where I said something like:
    "Hey girl!
I think I gave you enough time to cool down emotionally hehe
Right now, I want to share a coffee with my favorite (insert her name here). Do you have one of these rare moment of freedom this weekend or next week?
    Give me some news!
    Ciao
    -me"

    She wrote me back today.

"Hey! What do you want to do? I'm free both Sat and Sun. We'll have a brunch or we go take a walk on the mountain? I need some time out! I need some fresh air!
    Give me some news,
    -(insert her name here)
    xox"

    -

And so we organised a little walk next Sunday that should last a few hours. I will bring a small bottle of wine and a tiny lunch that we will share. I am really happy about how things turned out - the way she responded was way more positive than I ever expected. At the same time, though, I am not getting overly excited so I don't screw everything up. I am aware that THIS IS MY CHANCE. I'm studying Whitedragon's post so that my Mindset will be on the spot. I'll try to gauge her and do what I have to do to win her heart.

At the same time, I will enjoy every minute of it and make sure she has a hell of a good time!

I'm the luckiest man I've ever met. Did I already said that? Yes I know.

Looks like it's NEVER TOO LATE. Never.

Any more last-minute advice before I get on with this day-date?

    P.S.
I am a farking lucky man and I know it.

    *** update ***

I just came back from my walk on the mountain with the woman I love. I know this is a PUA forum but my story is getting more like a fairytale...

So guess what? After giving her the love letter I froze her out for a month and a half. When she suggested we could walk on the mountain together today she also said she needed some fresh air. My interpretation of that sentence was that she had something bothering her in her life and I was hoping it was about her BF.

Well almost as soon as we got together I asked her what was troubling her. She said "nothing" and we talked about random stuff for a while.

Later, things got more emotional and she told me not to get exited but that she was looking for an apartment to live alone because she realized BECAUSE OF MY LOVE LETTER that she wasn't satisfied with her current relationship. Her BF is not passionate and romantic enough...

She's moving out but she did not leave him yet. I used two aspects from Xavier's BF destroyer technique and it was so easy to do. It went very smoothly. I talked about her BF's lack of passion and his failure to commit. Followed the routine perfectly and I'll watch how it's gonna turn out.

I also followed ALL of whitedragon's advice and even talked about my strong genetics and my personnal goals. I managed not to look needy AT ALL which is in itself a miracle.

I would give myself a 9/10 for my performance. That being said, I've been 100% honest with her and didn't felt like I was manipulating her because in the end it's her life and I can't control her decisions anyway. All I did was to show the best of me and try to win her heart as if it was the first time I would talk to her.

It went GREAT. Managed to do lots of Kino. Even put my hands on her ass during the goodbye hug (we didn't kiss and I think it would have been awkward). I also made her laugh a lot and managed to make her realize we were having some pure moments of happiness. I also showed her how she was the one girl I wanted, how she is unique and how I am unique... how it's us against the world

The only thing I did that wasn't perfect was that I might have been just a tad too romantic/flirting with her, but that's how she knows me - that's me

I couldn't be more grateful to you guys for how you helped me create a wonderful connection with her. She even told me I was the only person with whom she can talk. I totally avoided the friend zone as well so I'm not worried.

Now I need help with what to do next.

Here's my question: What should I do next?

Give her some time and wait until she calls me or go to the park next to her job later this week for a surprise picnic? Send her emails occasionally, asking her how she feels or not? Advice needed!

Firstly this is great news and thanks for posting an update. I'd follow her advice and not get too excited. You don't neccessarily have to go out of your way for her, just don't do anything to compromise the flow. Definitely keep in touch via texts, be there for support but don't be her psychologist or removalist. Your her future so no point lounging around in the past. She has your letter, she knows how you feel! Personally I'd keep surprises like picnics for further down the path. Just concentrate on being stable, happy, confident. Maybe do smaller but just as touching things like pull out a hersheys kiss from your bag and give it to her while on a date, or send suprising texts. Let her make some moves closer to you and reward her good behavior. Also consider that she may potentially go a little back and forth as she shifts away from her ex. Allow her ex to make mistakes (he probably will) and you remain the rock. You don't have to help her break off really, you just need to be the reason why. Ya know be respectful of her situation but also keep escalating it forwards. Have the attitude your arms were designed to hold her and your lips were made for kissing her. 100% confidence. Good luck

So far I've listened to you guys and it only brought me positive things. For sure I will listen to your advice for the next stage of her transition.

I already got into two similar situations in my life. The first one I crashed and burned because I made too much pressure and because the girl was not an iNvestor, more like a social butterfly. The second time it worked perfectly and lasted for years - I had learned from my earlier mistakes.

There are two things I forgot to talk about in my last post:

Near the beginning of my date with her, we talked about my love letter and the fact that I had put her on a pedestal, that it was a teenager-kind of love. I conceded the point and told her that this romantic love would either lead me to see that she's not as great as I expected (which will probably not happen because I've known this girl for ages so even though I'm giving her an overvaluation it's not like if I had just met the girl and projected an ideal persona) - OR - that it would more likely be a teenager love that would transform into a more mature love. Then she did a sh1t-test: She told me I didn't "really" know her. I agreed with her. I never slept with her nor been her BF... but I asked her if she really "knew" her current BF before she started dating him and she smiled and told me I had made a point I definitely passed the test. After that discussion we just got closer and closer.

The other thing I forgot to mention is that she is loyal and faithful. Because of her strong values, she clearly didn't want us to go too far. She would definitely feel guilt if we were to kiss or if she would just fall into my arms... even though I am sure she definitely wants that to happen. For instance, as we talked about us, I said "You know, deep inside, that you and I share a special connection, don't you? You and I have always had a chemistry going on". She replied "I won't answer that question" with a smile, which can be translated as a "Yes" but that she's not ready to give into it just yet. Well my point is that despite the numerous IOIs she gave me all day long, she was very careful not to go too far... until the last few minutes when SHE hold me by the hand as we were walking downhill. I believe that by doing this she was giving me a clear sign despite the fact that for normal situations, holding a hand wouldn't be such a big deal.

    -
    The next steps:
I already followed your advice and I sent her a link to a song I just discovered (which is not even a love song) just to keep contact in a casual way. I'll go with the flow and work on my patience skills., while just poking her once in a while and maybe invite her somewhere to have fun if I feel like she needs some distractions from her break up situation.

I'm genuinly happy for you. Great job, keep it up but don't loose focus. The second u loose u're Mindset it will be hard to get it back and if u don't everything is gonna come down on you.

    Xavier,

You are so right. I read your post a few days ago but didn't realize how it would be a preview of my next obstacles.

I've spent the week exchanging songs and being casual with her up to the point where I decided to do two things: First I said something in a facebook message about how I understand her situation and that I was there if she ever needed help, and the next day I mailed her something at her working place that was an inside joke from our date.

I haven't had any reply since then and I haven't done anything myself so that I don't look needy. Basically, what I realize is that I haven't made a bad move yet - everything can't be perfect of course but in reality I think I'm still on the top of things - but the truth is that I started to have DOUBTS.

I have no real reasons to freak out because I know her and how she's not an avid texting/messaging person, I know she's busy like hell at work and furthermore she's visiting apartments during the weekends and going out with girlfriends at night... but still I'm starting to fear rejection inside of me... and loss of interest on her part.

I know it's all in my mind and I am fighting it as much as I can. I had NO IDEA that your post would be ON THE SPOT as to what was awaiting. I know I've been suffering from severe oneitis with this girl, but what is happening right now is that since I'm getting closer and closer to my goal, it's like if I was slowly realizing that there's a possibility that everything could crash.

Since I haven't done any real bad moves yet I'm convincing myself that it's just some normal self-defense mechanisms going on and I'm focusing on the "right" mindset I must keep when I will talk to her. I'm also trying to rationalize things when I get those nasty thoughts.

I'm writing this so that others in a similar situation will know that the stress is not gone even after you get your first signs of victory. Like it was said earlier, I'm going through the phase where the girl is probably getting pulled back and forth to/from her BF as she's trying to take a final decision.

I have lost all control over the situation (since she's going to take her own decisions by herself) and it's a hard time for everyone involved in it, I guess. That being said...

...believe me: I am 100% dedicated to become a farking monk if it's what it takes to win this girl!

It's very difficult to know what moves would be good and which ones would be bad. I'm planning not to write her anything this week unless if she sends me a message first... and on friday she'll get a special visit and she'll get a funny/tiny B-Day present. I have been known to change my plans often so if you guys think it's too much please chime in

    ** Update **

Well I just read my last post and I'm laughing my ass out. I can be such a beta sometimes

What happened is that I refrained from sending her any messages until all of a sudden I had a nice email from her in my inbox. She's thanking me for my little present/joke and she's telling me how much she laughed when she got it.

Also, she's praising me for being... "me"!

I replied the next day by giving her a rendez-vous for a walk in a park at night. I gave her strict orders about the exact time (8:37 PM lol) and what to bring (!!!).

Yeah I told her to bring her starry eyes, an empty backpack, her favorite CD and a tree leaf. The idea is to make her bring a backpack (the rest is just for fun) so she can bring home her B-Day present... which is a stuffed teddy bear. Last week she told me her greatest fear in life was Bears (when she's doing camping!) and my B-day present for her is a "baby bear" she will have to adopt and take care of until her fear washes away. This idea must sound totally bizarre for you guys but I am 100% sure she'll melt.

    haha

    She declined the date...

...Because she just signed a lease for an apartment and she'd feel bad seeing me secretly while she's breaking up with her BF

She clearly said she needed time but that we'll see each other again as soon as she'll "have moved her belongings and her feelings"...

I will give her all the time she needs, but I should keep some casual email contacts, I think. Should I?

I keep forgetting to read this thread :P. here goes:
-For the first post (the one about me beeing on the spot) you are right about everything and it was so good of you to write it.
    - if u're sure its a good idea than it is we can never truly know what's betwwen you guys and how she truly is and what she truly likes.
-yes but strictly casual, (don't go into the i love you/feelings part) keep the dhving even via e mail and try to slip in some sexual inuendo.

Let her re-initiate. Sounds like potentially she's not that interested or is shit testing you.
