I went out dinner with this girl I met the other day at a business conference. Dinner may not be an ideal first date for many but circumstances had us agree to meet for dinner (rollover from previous conversation where we could not have dinner and agreed to make it next time).
Anyhow, I think it went great. We were there for almost 3 hours and never short of things to talk. Even towards the end it felt as if we could talk more. Bt she lives with her family, and seemed quite conservative, so we decided to call it a night.
Cheek - kissed before getting in the taxi, and she texted me in the next 10 minutes thanking me for the dinner and the conversation, and that next time it was her turn (as i payed for the dinner ofcourse) with a '' at the end.
I replied: my pleasure really enjoyed the conversation with you as well.
The next evening I call her but she did not answer - which I felt unusual as we talked several times over phone to arrange the dinner and it was not awkward anymore. Later I sent a mildly funny text to keep the contact - saying hope she was not too drunk when she reached home lol (she did mention she felt a little drunk after dinner - but really it was just one margarita so it was a mild comment anyway).
It's been 2 days now and I am not sure how to respond. Normally I would call but as she did not answer or call back the first time so I don't want to risk it again. How should I proceed?
