So I'm getting a bit pissed off at a situation: I've been dating a girl for a while now, she came off a long relationship and claims not to be ready for one, even though she admits we're great together. I'm not a believer on this crap, and I've told her that. She's pulling me now, instead of being the other way around, but I'm not a fan of not getting what I want straight away (you do risk some friendzoning by continuing to say yes to invites that go nowhere, but I've told her "I don't need more friends", she knows where I'm at).
Worst of this, I've lost a chance with a co-worker of hers that left to her home country. I was aware of the ioi's but atm I can't lose my reputation in her workplace. It still annoys me, and the same is about to happen to another co-worker of hers.
What I want to ask: do you think it's worth if I'm really stubborn now? (I am aware that this will lead to a rejection at first, btw... Just unsure if it would work)
Whenever she invites me to be with her, I'd do one of the two:
- Reject and say "We'll go out when you realise you want the same thing I do."
- When I get the invitation, ask "How bad do you want to kiss me?" (obvs getting a neg on this one, so reply with "that's not enough for me to go out with you").
That way I also have an excuse to date other people without "losing rep"
