Default Making sure a date is a date

So I asked this girl out a while ago to go ice skating. We didn't end up going but I had thought by asking her to go with me I was making it apparent that I was interested in her. (This and things like this happened a few times)

Fast forward 2 months and after getting some volunteered information from her in texts (like ending a conversation about a trip she was taking by telling me she would be back Friday) So I said we should hang out Friday and she agreed.

So Friday comes and I, based on the previous near misses of interactions, decided to go to the roller derby with some friends. I texted her on the off chance she was being genuine and would want to come. She did and me and a friend walked with her to the arena.

So fast forward again, a few hours, a few venue changes, and a few parties and we end up back at my place. The whole night she seemingly spoke only to me. At the last place we went to we spent the whole time in a corner talking. And at my place we continue to do the same.(I only started reading about PUA after this night)

I do nothing different than I did the rest of the night where I was her exclusive means of conversation. Through out the night though, whenever we would meat knew people and whether she knew I could hear her or not, when asked if we were a "thing" was my GF, or dating, she always said just friends.

One of my roomates came home, from another room I heard the same thing again, and I walked her home after that. I want to ask her out again, I want to be clear its a date, but I'm not sure she likes me. I may be in the friend zone and not even realize it.

Is there any sort of test? Or rather what should I do to get my "real" date?

I will give more details if it helps.

It doesnt matter if you make her think its a date or not.

Its your actions that will dictate whether its a date.

Im guessing by her reaction you didn't Kino properly and escalate.

I think you would be right to suggest that. As I said I only started learning about this stuff after. Any suggestions for this immediate time?
