Wish I said something!

I pick up my little bro and sis from school sometimes, and there's an HB8 childminder picking up someone's kids who I have noticed for a while. They definately arent her kids, but she's got to be at least 25 ( Im 21). Anyway not had much opportunity to talk to her, but yesterday there was hardly any1 else around and she started making eye contact with me (hard to tell for sure because she was wearing sunglasses- in fact she always does). anyway I kept the eye contact up until she looked away, but then I did nothing. I just stood there thinking of some awesome way to open her. So nothing happened and now i'm regretting it. Next time I see her I am definately going to approach her even if I just say hey, and then walk away.

if she has sunglasses on, how can you tell she's making eye contact with you? I would have waved at her, if her head moves slightly she wasnt looking at me but past me, but if she smiles or wave back I would approach, nonverbal communication is powerful when unsure if your getting ioi

@ Viruscast : There are some sunglasses that are not so dark and you can see quite a bit and can tell where a person's looking.

@ CSL : Good, now you figured what to do. Use some opinion openers and you can go natural from there.

True, no way of knowing if she was actually looking at me. I find it difficult to talk to people wearing sunglasses, I wonder if many other people do too. I like to make eye contact, and without that I dont feel like i'm getting a response or feedback. Yea a wave would have been good actually.

I will have to think of some opinion openers. got nothing right now.
