Bitch Shields?

This girl I'm trying to game is NOTORIOUS for her Bitch Shield. She's a solid 9.5, but her bitch shield keeps guys from hitting on her, so I guess it's a good thing in a way (on a side note, she does hit on other guys, showing MANY IOI's at times) .Her bitch shield is sometimes so bad, it intimidates me, and I end up not opening her at all. I have approached her before, and engaged in conversation, however I always used indirect approaches, so that I wouldn't get caught in the "bitch shield", and even then i would only approach when I had the balls to. direct openers were completely out of the question as I feared a slap to the face too much.The conversations we had got NOWHERE as the Indirect Approach starts off with "hey when is the paper due for this class" and ends with a "thanks". She also sometimes shows relatively high interest in the conversation, and makes it easy to talk to her, but, spends no effort on her part to upkeep the conversation. Other times she shows extremely low interest in the conversation, and will even try to kill conversation at times. I think this is because I disarmed the bitch shield wrong, and maybe that's what's causing the low interest. I really need to fix this problem, as if just opening the girl is hard, I can just imagine what type of hell initiating kino is going to be. Any suggestions?

First of all, asking the due date for an homework is not a really good Opener, because it doesn't lead anywhere (except to a "thanks"...). I'd suggest using something that won't kill your chances from the start, (it's an opener for a reason).

I'm still new to all this, so I can't really help for the rest, but concerning the opener, I'm pretty confident you have to find something better (I'd suggest at least reading the funny pick-up lines thread.)

It's threads like this that make me rethink my game. Sometimes you just got to walk away. There's no level of bitchiness that should be tolerated, at least not in the first few seconds. That's not someone to be with.

I perosnally would just laugh it off. The best thing you can do in this situation is just be comfortable in your own skin, and laugh off her behavior. Absolute non neediness imho.

Yeah I kinda agree, the due date for homework is a crappy Opener (well unless I really do need the due date). I would walk away, but its this one-itis I've had for a long time, so I kinda need closure, in no means am I expecting her to go on a date with me, but at least, if I get rejected, its some type of closure. I'm basically using my game in order to put me "ahead of the competition", I wouldn't mind rejection, but I would sure as hell appreciate success. As for the funny pick up lines, thanks for the suggestion, I'll try look at that now, and maybe try to implement that in some way. Who knows, it might be a good opener, and the thing I was looking for all this time. I read somewhere that the best response to a Bitch Shield was no response, as she would change her Mindset, but I find that idea hard to digest. Even if I do get past the bitch shield and start a conversation, it'll just be awkward, as we don't talk that much. I don't want the conversation to be like "What the hell is he doing talking to me?". I've had the idea of just screwing all the theories, and just going direct, but I'm pretty sure that'll end terribly, but at least we'll have something to talk about.

Well how is she bitch shielding, is she just being unresponsive like "kk w/e" to everything or is she like "Wow you look a retard" agressive? They're kinda different ball games.

Some of the time, its the first one, which I just kill the conversation, because...well I'm not sure why, it just seemed like the right thing to do. She does the second type to other guys, which kinda give me the impression, that she could do the exact same to me too if I don't handle my approach well

just a thought - she may know you're trying to get her into bed and maybe she's the type who doesn't do one-night stands. she might be a relationship girl....

hahahahahahaha yeah thanks jellymint, that post got me thinking, I wasn't really thinking about getting her into bed, I was gonna be happy with whatever type of relationship she wanted. I didn't even have a plan for something beyond the approach. On a more negative note one of my friends (HB 7 by the way) was friends with her and told her, that "I was trying to get her"....not really sure how she interpreted that. I know now, its a helluva lot harder to talk to her. Now I know that was a thing that didn't really help me because it revealed my intentions, which I learned was a bad thing from the book "The 48 Laws of Power" (great book by the way, highly recommend it). Normally I could post a status on facebook, and she would like and comment on it, but now its like...pfft...nothin g. No more facebook contact whatsoever, which...admittedly doesn't worry me that much, because..its only facebook. I have noticed a very slight increase in eye contact when we pass by each other in the hallways..it might be my imagination or something...I really don't know. Either way, I still am not sure of how to approach..as some posts say that eye contact is almost like a free pass to open. Any ideas?

I wasn't sure at first. But now this girl seems like a total waste of time. Don't subject yourself.
