Why do people bother to post here??

I mean, I'm all for community and all, but a smart PUA would just troll these forums, gathering as much data as humanly possible. In fact, he would build a database of specific PUA's, and would analyze their weaknesses and design algorithms that would specifically target their weaknesses and turn them, effectively, into Beta Dogs

In fact, he would be a sheep in wolve's clothing, creating an army of his own, for the sole purpose of destroying all Alpha Males

So that he would himself be the only Alpha Male.........

I mean that's basically what Durden did to Mystery in "The Game" right??

sorry, I watched the Dark Knight today and just thought about how brilliantly dastardly The Joker's Master Plan was.......

probably just me being paranoid......

As I recall from The Game, Tyler Durden ended up with nothing more than a dirty used up cummed on house in old Hollywood, his plan to destroy the friendship of Style and Mystery failed, and they both moved on to bigger and better things. Granted, that's Style's description of the events, but I certainly haven't heard anything more out of Durden since, while Style seems to keep improving.

I never liked Durden's robotic approach, so I can concur with you on the paranoia thing-- there could always be another Tyler Durden around the corner.

I think the lesson here is you reap what you sew. If you contribute to the community you're more likely to get someone to reply to your post when you inevitably hit a brick wall or sticking point. Plus, the best way to learn is to teach.

If you're still paranoid even after that, well, think like the old Kung Fu gurus. A Master always saves his best technique in case his pupils turn against him, and the confidence in that "ace in the hole" made it silly to hold back basic techniques from anyone. Sure people could gain some knowledge by trolling and never contributing (I was guilty of that even for a while), but even an android with a perfect recall of this entire site couldn't turn one of the Masters into a "Beta Dog" lol

I'd be curious what others have to say, though...

P.S.- Funny thing is, Tyler Durden from The Game was pretty much the polar opposite of Tyler Durden from Fight Club.

P.S. Before people start attacking me for "being a troll", I've been reading this stuff for years and have nothing but respect and admiration for Mr. Strauss and Mr. Mystery (The Genuine Casanova of our generation)

Here's the thing - Tyler Durden the liar systematically destroyed Mystery's dream by doing everything in his power to turn Project Hollywood against Him

He is the reason Mystery's dream of Project Hollywood failed. And if he was rooted out beforehand, maybe something miraculous could have happened.........

And when I see his interviews, he is still justifyably bitter about the whole experience....

How do we protect the Mystery's of the world from the False Durdens??

actually, the Joker killed Rachel Dawes, and in the process, damned both Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent

Remember, The Joker lied about who was at which address...

And Bruce was simply too heartbroken to tell Harvey the truth..........

I wonder what would have happened if he did.......

I guess we will never know

Eh, we're men. We like to take things apart and analyze them. We like theories.

That being said, I have felt the same sort of ...I don't know, desolation with coming to understand how it all works. The trick isn't magic once you know how its done. But somehow it cuts much more deeply when the "trick" is human connection and the "magic" is love or lust.

We're all farking animals. I'd say I've learned equal parts here and an equal part from just watching wildlife documentaries.

Dark Knight was amazing (especially Heath Ledger, even though that's the most repeated statement ever, Its one cliche I don't mind repeating). However, I grew up on the older stuff, so it's hard not to think about those characters too.
